My process always begins with finding the beauty in decay. All of my pieces come from trees who have lived their lives out to the fullest and are in the process of decomposing, creating a negative space for art to move in. I freeze the decomposition with natural products and find creative ways to showcase the natural beauty in the wood through light. There is a fine dichotomy of highly sanded and finished wood with the rough and natural edges that are maintained from the time I plucked them out of the forests. Once finished, these lamps and lighting fixtures are the perfect accent for someone who loves nature and wants to appreciate the beauty found in it.

Bio

I believe life is best when it’s full. Full of family, friends, inspiration, and creative outlets. During the day I run the marketing for a local nonprofit and food pantry, while at home I help out on the family homestead and farm. Any free time I have goes straight to the woodshop, where I find peace in creating unique woodworking projects. I am a photographer, videographer, designer, craftsman, creative, and regenerative agriculturist.
