I fell into creating jewelry literally quite by accident. Due to a serious collision after which I had a long recovery period, I was looking for something to fill my days, and a friend encouraged me to take a weekend precious metal clay workshop led by Kate Baer, of Kate Baer Fossils. By the end of those few days, I developed a passion I had never dreamed of. I now have a studio workshop on a small farm nestled in the heart of the beautiful Ozark Mountains. My husband, David, and I design and create one-of-a-kind, hand crafted jewelry from copper, silver and bronze precious metal clay, as well as both copper and silver sheet, and reclaimed copper wire and pipe. David periodically hand crafts wood and bone beads from materials found on our farm, which he incorporates into some of his original designs. Many of our creations are inspired by ancient cultures, and some we allow the metal and our untethered consciousness to guide us to its’ final form, but all are original and unique. We have discovered through feedback from customers, that the unconventionality and uniqueness of our creations quite often park spontaneous conversations between the wearer and other individuals. It’s our hope that our creations brings happiness to our customers from both wearing these unique pieces as well as from interactions with others about them.

Bio
I live on a small farm in the gorgeous Ozark Mountains just outside of Green Forest, AR with a small flock of chickens, 2 calves, 13 goats, a dog and numerous cats. I tinker with watercolors and acrylics from time to time, but have found my passion in creating one-of-a-kind, handcrafted jewelry. I am originally from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in the Niagara Escarpment and settled here in the beautiful Ozarks 20 years ago.
