As a textile artist I am fascinated by color obtained from natural pigments. My papers and textiles are printed from natural pigments, tannins and acids present in plant materials. After the papers or textiles are stacked or bundled with leaves and pigments, they are simmered for ninety minutes or longer to extract the print.

I began sewing at a young age then designing my own fabrics. I started eco-dyeing or botanical dyeing of textiles and papers with plants when I moved to northwest Arkansas in 2018. I love walking on the trails and foraging for various plant species.
