I provide a honeybee removal service throughout the state of Arkansas. I also sell homemade products using beeswax, propolis, and honey from our hives supplemented with herbs from our garden. We donate a portion of each sale back into our “freebee” swarm removal program which provides swarm removal at no cost to the homeowner, to make this an affordable and accessible repair.

My name is Sarah and my partner, and I started The Helping Hives LLC in 2024 as a way to do what we loved while giving back to our community. My partner, Adam, and I have lived and worked in South Fayetteville since 2018. We started keeping bees in 2020, towards the beginning of the pandemic to try to keep us sane! We signed up for a “Host-A-Hive” program through the Calm + Confidence Beekeeping program where we gained a mentor who guided us through the beginning trial and errors in beekeeping. 🐝 There was no looking back from there!
We now have 10 hives at several different locations throughout Fayetteville! In addition to selling our honey, we use our propolis and beeswax to make products ranging from salves to toothpaste and chapstick. We use native plants from our backyard to make our salves, oils, and tinctures and source locally what we can’t grow ourselves.
We work with a local master carpenter to provide honeybee removal services throughout Arkansas. Don’t kill the bees! Send me!
