Soy & Serenity Candle Co. was born from something deeply personal — my love for all things that smell good and my longing for a cozy, inviting home. Like many people, I used to walk into big candle stores, excited to discover new scents. But instead of leaving with bags of candles, I often left with pounding headaches that lasted for hours.
At first, I didn’t understand why. Then I started researching, and what I uncovered shocked me. Most major brands use cheap fillers, chemical-laden fragrances, and misleading “buzzwords” to cut costs and create the illusion of being safe or natural. The reality? Those hidden toxins were the very thing triggering my body to scream at me to get out.
It became clear: if I wanted candles in my home, they had to be different. Safer. Cleaner. Honest.
So in November of 2018, I poured my very first candle. It wasn’t perfect, but it was the beginning of something that mattered — not just for me, but for anyone who wanted fragrance without compromise. Over the years, I’ve perfected the craft, hand-pouring every candle with the same level of care and commitment that started this journey.
