A Women’s Value Nude Study #5

A series of nude figure studies that are of women missing arms and heads. These pieces speak to women’s issues and struggles to be seen and heard as intellectual and independent individuals who are worth more than what they are valued for the most; their bodies. This series is probably the closest that I have come to finding my own niche’. This particular piece features a dark skinned woman. I feel that in the future I will feature more women of color, but portrayed with even more missing.
