Bio

CRWNmalas is a one woman enterprise run by Delphi from her home in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  A proud mom of one boy whom she loves to refer to as a “force of nature”, she runs every aspect of the business from supply, design, advertising, social media, shipping, etc.  Though she spent years mulling over the idea to undertake a creative enterprise, CRWNmalas erupted with full force over the course of just a few days in 2020 after the realization that one simple piece of jewelry in her collection, an inlaid wooden mala from Nepal, still held the same power of awe over her since the first time she saw it 2015.  One could say it was love at first sight and its impact is what carried her imagination like a herd of thundering horses into the service of CRWNmalas.

The name CRWN was chosen to honor both her own Western religious heritage and the Eastern philosophies and spiritual heritages from which malas hail.  The Crown Chakra, the 7th chakra at the top of the head, is considered to be the “energy center that controls your connection to spirit, to Supreme Being, as well as your sense of universal consciousness, wisdom, unity, and self-knowledge”.  That connection to God has sustained her, inspired her, and blessed her and so she put it front and center.
