We use a unique vitamin C that is shown to be the most stable, gentle, and bioavailable form and does not take away from or react poorly with other ingredients, as do commonly used forms of ascorbic acid. This serum does many jobs, including boosting natural collagen production, detoxifying and protecting skin from UV rays and pollution, brightening, and hydrating.

While it may seem appealing to have highly concentrated products, formulas with more than 20% L-ascorbic acid can irritate the skin. Most dermatological studies have found that a range between 8-20% produces the best results with limited irritation. A study conducted by Duke University Medical Center found that the concentrations of L-ascorbic acid above 20% do not have increased skin benefits. The study determined that, conversely, higher levels can negatively impact the skin’s condition.

Glycerin absorbs at the skin’s surface and boosts your skin’s hydration.
