The Lane Hotel features a panoramic view of the grand Spanish Colonial-style structure against a bright summer sky. This stunning landmark in downtown Rogers, Arkansas was built in 1928, but faltered during the Great Depression. It became the Harris Hotel in 1935 and was called “The Palace of the Ozarks.” It was the place to stay for notable celebrities of the day, including aviator Amelia Earhart and actor Errol Flynn. Hand-drawn digital art. Prints available in 30 x 20, 10 x 8, and 7 x 5.

Bio
My work reflects both my curiosity and my need for order. As someone with both ADHD and autism, my art provides order in a world that, to me, often seems entirely out of order. I tend to find beauty in unconventional and unexpected places.
The addition of details is incredibly important to me; even the most minuscule, insignificant detail affords me an opportunity for focus that is as much meditative as it is artistic.
My hope is that the viewer will slow down long enough to consider these details and perhaps weave their own narrative around them. In this way, I’m able to give them the same meditative focus in viewing the piece that I had in drawing it.
