This Norfolk Island Pine Bar/Kitchen Island features a 10-bottle metal wine rack and room for a mini fridge (not Included) or a shelf if desired. I didn’t craft a shelf or purchase a fridge so that you could customize it yourself. If you would like more work done, message me for a quote. I repurposed the metal wine rack, then flattened, filled, shaped, and finished the top and base with Hemp Oil and Howard’s Beeswax with Citrus Oil for a beautiful hand rubbed finish. Because the oil soaks deep into the wood, this finish won’t peel or crack over time. You can re-wax it whenever it’s under heavy use and turns dull after several washings to recondition the wood. The Hemp Oil and Wax keep it waterproof and stain resistant while leaving the natural feel of the wood grain. It sits on top of adjustable feet with plastic bottoms and felt pads included. The top and bottom of the wine rack are fastened to the wood with steel inserts and 1/4-inch furniture bolts. The back edge is also a natural edge, but fairly straight, so it would sit against a wall well or can be used as an island. The interior space for the fridge measures 26″ wide, by 22″ tall, and about 20 inches deep. Fridge is not included. This is a one-of-a-kind, unique item that will serve as an inspiring center piece for your kitchen or favorite entertaining space.
